Fans, families and car enthusiasts can tune into the live virtual tour event on Throtl’s YouTube page or Hot Wheels Facebook page on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Starting at 5 p.m. PST, audiences will watch LIVE judging from a panel consisting of top motorsports athlete Colette Davis, professional racecar driver Bisi Ezerioha, motorsports ambassador Jarod DeAnda, Throtl’s TJ Hunt, and Hot Wheels designers Ryu Asada and Kevin Cao.
Fans, families and car enthusiasts across the U.S., we have a seat in the virtual front row of the second at-home stop of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour presented by Mobil 1 for each of you. Mark your calendar to hop on and be a part of the virtual international search for a custom-vehicle worthy of being immortalized as a Hot Wheels die-cast collectible.
The winner of this virtual stop, hosted by Throtl, will join all other Hot Wheels Legends Tour finalists at the Virtual Grand Finale in Los Angeles in November. Now in its third year, Legends Tour judges will consider creativity, authenticity and garage spirit when selecting finalists and winners.
While the majority of vehicles featured will be tuners and high-performance drift cars, all variety of vehicles, representing the breadth of the Hot Wheels in all aspects of car culture, will be included.
New for 2020, Mobil 1 will be providing one additional spot for a vehicle to be featured in the final competition, through the Mobil 1 Fan Favorite contest that gives top vote getters at each stop a second chance at being immortalized into the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends.
The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is made possible in partnership with Mobil 1, Walmart and Dickies.
