Pirelli flexes P Zero muscle at SEMA 2015 From “pole position” in the South Hall of The Las Vegas Convention Center, P Zero equipped supercars showcase the strength of the product family across motorsport, prestige OE applications and high end custom tuning SEMA follows F1 success for P Zero after two consecutive North American Grands Prix in Austin and Mexico City
Pirelli is back at this year’s 2015 SEMA show with a commanding presence highlighting the versatility of its iconic, ultra high performance P Zero™ tire range with an impressive array of the world’s finest cars on display, Chip Foose and Akari Nakai autograph sessions and Periscope live streaming of all the action.
“We are proud to be at SEMA to showcase Pirelli’s DNA to North American enthusiasts via our P Zero range, which we will expand in 2016. The great vehicle line-up equipped with Pirelli at our booth and around the show– from the Lamborghini and Ferrari models highlighting our prestige/ premium OE partnerships and Italian heritage, to custom aftermarket with Chip Foose’s award winning 1965 Impala ‘Imposter’ design; all illustrate the P Zero™ as symbolic of the ultimate quality, high performance driving experience. There is a close union for Pirelli between our prestige OE applications and North American motorsports presence, where we currently participate in premier race series such as Pirelli World Challenge, Porsche GT3 Cup, Maserati Trophy and Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series,” said Pierluigi Dinelli, Pirelli Tire North America CEO.
“This is a great time of growth for us in North America. We are expanding distribution points to service key markets across the US and Canada, as well as product lines and sizes, such as our P Zero™ Trofeo R line expansion we’re announcing here,” Dinelli added.

At its SEMA booth in the South Hall, Pirelli is proud to host the Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition, the supercar highlighting Pirelli’s 50 year strong partnership with Lamborghini, equipped with P Zero™ Corsa slicks to match its 690 hp, 510 pound-feet of torque and top speed of 217 mph.
The Ferrari F12 Novitec Largo is also on display, one of only three models available in the US and another celebration of Pirelli’s prestige Italian performance heritage OEM. Equipped with P Zero™ tires, this Ferrari F12 special edition exotic supercar by tuning house Novitec Rosso claims a top speed of 217 mph and subtle power and style enhancements including: wider rear fenders, reprogrammed ECU, a competition-derived exhaust, five piece diffuser and tinted rear lamps.
The 1965 Impala ‘Imposter’ Chip Foose designed car that won the 2015 Autorama Hot Rod award is another highlight in the Pirelli booth, showing the versatility of P Zero™ for the custom aftermarket. Chip Foose will do autograph sessions in Pirelli’s booth on Tuesday, November 3rd from 2-4pm and Thursday, November 5th from 11am-1pm.
The Porsche 911 993 RWB JennaBelle rounds out the car display at Pirelli. This Nakai-San designed, RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF 1995 Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2 in Guards Red with a 993 super wide street body kit is fitted with P Zero™ Corsa System tires. There will be an autograph session with Akari Nakai, the RWB builder on Wednesday, November 4th from 2-4pm.
On the Pirelli Moto side, visitors can also see the BMW S 1000 RR, its new acclaimed hyper-sport bike for supersport riders equipped with Diablo Super Corsa SP tires, Pirelli’s racetrack derived high performing tires effective for the road with a top speed of over 168 mph.
At the Pirelli Motorsport Rig outside of the South Hall, Pirelli will house the following cars at SEMA:
